Our History
It was in the year 1946 when U Tha Yin Medicine Hall was established to launch the very first commercial sale of a in-demand Traditional Medicine named ” U Tha Yin Lat Tway Pyout Lay Ngan Say Kyaw “. Initially, it was just a medicine formula which was used by family members and has passed down from one generation to another. But over the years, it has become popular among friends and family because of its efficacy during practical use. The medicine brand name and medicine hall name were dedicated to First Generation founder of medicine ” U Tha Yin”.
During the earlier years of establishment, the manufacturing was based on Traditional method for small scale production. Then, the manufacturing method were revolutionized into modernized method by Third Generation Owner “Daw Lay Myint” in 2000. By that time, there were two types of dosage forms: Tablet Oral dosage form for body homeostasis & post stroke treatment and Powder Topical dosage form for faster post-stroke rehabilitation.
In 2003, Ready-to-use Topical dosage form namely “U Tha Yin Medicated Oil” was launched into the market. By that time, the product range was already expanded to 8 registered Traditional Medicines.
With the vision of developing high quality medicine with scientific research and quality control, In-House Quality Control Laboratory was established in 2006. During the same year, the medicine hall is ISO 9001 certified by SGS Certification.
As a next step of development, the medicine hall is GMP certified by SGS Certification during 2009 in accordance with WHO GMP guideline for Herbal Medicine. The medicine hall was the very first Traditional medicine manufacturer to achieve such GMP certificate in Myanmar. These developments clearly indicated the medicine hall commitment to produce high quality medicines consistently. The medicine hall development was again acknowledged by Ministry of Health, Myanmar in 2011 by awarding GMP certificate.
In order to fulfill the increasing demand and to improve manufacturing facilities, South Dagon New Manufacturing Plant project was initiated in 2011. The project was finished in 2016 and all Manufacturing activities were moved to South Dagon Manufacturing Plant. South Dagon Manufacturing Plant was ISO 9001:2015 & GMP certified by SGS certification in 2017 & GMP certified by Ministry of Health & Sports, Myanmar in 2018.
In 2018, the Dragon Brand logo used by the medicine hall and main products was redesigned to better reflect the modernized improvements done over the year. As a part of continuous quality improvement, packaging design of main products were also redesigned and improved significantly during 2018 and 2019.
The latest improvement is the establishment of Own Microbiology Laboratory in 2020 which meant the medicine hall now does not need to rely on Outsource laboratories. All the activities of the medicine hall are done with the aim of ensuring quality, safety & efficacy in every product and every batch. It is in the culture of the medicine hall that it will thrive for excellence and improvements continuously. Last not but least, it is with our great pleasure and pride to say that U Tha Yin Medicine Hall is a place where tradition meets science for quality excellency.
ဦးသာရင်ဆေးတိုက်ကို ၁၉၄၆ခုနှစ်တွင် ဦးသာရင်၏လက်တွေ့ပျောက် လေငန်းဆေးကျော်ကို ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ်စီးပွားဖြစ် စတင်ရောင်းချရန် အတွက် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခင်ဘိုးစဉ်ဘောင်ဆက် မိသားစုတွင်း၌သာ လက်ဆင့်ကမ်းအသုံးပြုလာခဲ့သော ဆေးနည်းဖြစ်သော်လည်း လက်တွေ့ကုသရာတွင် အာနိသင်ထက်မြက်မှုကြောင့် မိသားစုနှင့် မိတ်ဆွေအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းများကြားတွင်လူသိများကျော်ကြားလာခဲ့ရာမှ အစပြုခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဆေးဝါးကို လက်ဆင့်ကမ်းပေးအပ်ခဲ့သော ပထမမျိုုးဆက် ဦးသာရင် ကိုဂုဏ်ပြုသောအားဖြင့် ဆေးတိုက်နှင့် ဆေးဝါးအမည်များတွင် ထည့်သွင်းအသုံးပြုခဲ့ပါသည်။
ဆေးတိုက်စတင်တည်ထောင်စဉ်အချိန်ကာလများ၌ မိရိုးဖလာထုတ်လုပ်မှုနည်းစနစ်များဖြင့် ဆေးအရေအတွက် အနည်းငယ်ကိုသာ ထုတ်လုပ်ခဲ့ရာမှ တတိယမျိုးဆက်ပိုင်ရှင်ဖြစ်သော ဒေါ်လေးမြင့် လက်ထက် ၂၀ဝ၀ ခုနှစ်မှစပြီး ခေတ်မှီနည်းစနစ်ကျသော ထုတ်လုပ်မှုပုံစံများသို့ပြောင်းလဲခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဆေးဝါးသောက်သုံးရန်ပုံစံကိုလည်း ခန္ဓာကိုယ်သွေးလေလှည့်ပတ်မှုမှန်ကန်ပြီး လေငန်းရောဂါကာကွယ်ရန် နှင့် လေငန်းရောဂါကုသရန်အတွက် သောက်ဆေးပြားနှင့် လေငန်းဖြစ်ပြီးနောက် ခြေလက်နှင့်ကြွက်သားအားနည်းခြင်းများ ပိုမိုလျှင်မြန်စွာ သက်သာကောင်းမွန်စေရန်အတွက် လိမ်းဆေးမှုန့် ဟူ၍ ပုံစံ ၂ မျိုး ထုတ်လုပ်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂၀ဝ၃ခုနှစ်တွင် အသင့်အသုံးပြုနိုင်သည့် လိမ်းဆေးပုံစံဖြစ်သော ဦးသာရင်သွက်ချာပါဒလေငန်းလိမ်းဆေးအဆီကို စတင်ရောင်းချခဲ့ပါသည်။ အခြားဆေးဝါးများအနေဖြင့်လည်း တိုင်းရင်းဆေးပေါင်း ၈ မျိုးကို မှတ်ပုံတင်ထားနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
သိပ္ပံနည်းကျ သုတေသနပြုပြီး အရည်အသွေးစစ်ဆေးထိန်းချုပ်ထားသော အရည်အသွေးမြင့်ဆေးဝါးများ ထုတ်လုပ်နိုင်ရန် ဟူသောရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့် ကိုယ်ပိုင်အရည်အသွေးထိန်းချုပ်ဓါတ်ခွဲခန်းကို ၂၀ဝ၆ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင် တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါခုနှစ်တွင်ပင် ဆေးတိုက်သည် SGS Certification မှ ISO 9001 Certificate ကို ရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
ဆင့်ကဲတိုးတက်မှုတစ်ခုအနေဖြင့် ၂၀ဝ၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် ဆေးတိုက်သည် ကမ္ဘာ့ကျန်းမာရေးအဖွဲ့အစည်း၏ ဆေးဖက်ဝင် အပင်များမှထုတ်လုပ်သောဆေးဝါးများအတွက် ကောင်းမွန်သောထုတ်လုပ်မှုကျင့်စဉ်လမ်းညွှန်ချက်များ အတိုင်း လိုက်နာဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်သောကြောင့် GMP Certificate ကို SGS Certification မှထပ်မံရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဦးသာရင်ဆေးတိုက် အနေဖြင့်အဆိုပါ GMP Certificate ကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ပထမဆုံးရရှိခဲ့သော တိုင်းရင်းဆေးဝါး ထုတ်လုပ်သူအနေဖြင့် လည်း မှတ်ကျောက်တင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခုကဲ့သို့တိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲမှုများသည် ဦးသာရင်ဆေးတိုက်၏ အရည်အသွေးမြင့်ဆေးဝါးများ တစ်စိုက်မတ်မတ် ထုတ်လုပ်ရန်ဟူသော သန္ဓိဌာန်ကိုထင်ရှားစွာဖော်ပြလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ထိုကဲ့သို့တိုးတက်မှုများကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှလည်း ၂၀၁၁ခုနှစ်တွင် GMP Certificate ကို ပေးအပ်ပြီး ထပ်မံအသိမှတ်ပြုခဲ့ပါသည်။
တိုးတက်များပြားလာသော သုံးစွဲသူတို့၏ဆေးဝါးလိုအပ်ချက်များဖြည့်ဆည်းရန်နှင့် ဆေးဝါးထုတ်လုပ်ရေး အဆောက်အဦးများကို အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရန် တောင်ဒဂုံဆေးဝါးစက်ရုံစီမံကိန်းကို ၂၀၁၁ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂၀၁၆ခုနှစ်တွင် စီမံကိန်းပြီးစီးခဲ့ပြီး ထုတ်လုပ်မှုလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များအားလုံးကို တောင်ဒဂုံဆေးဝါးစက်ရုံသို့ ပြောင်းရွှေ့ ခဲ့ပါသည်။ တောင်ဒဂုံဆေးဝါးစက်ရုံသည် ၂၀၁၇ခုနှစ်တွင် SGS Certification မှ ISO 9001:2015 Certificate နှင့် GMP Certificate များ စစ်ဆေးရရှိခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၁၈ခုနှစ်တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကျန်းမာရေးနှင့်အားကစားဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ GMP Certificate စစ်ဆေးရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
လွန်ခဲ့သောနှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာအတွင်း ခေတ်မှီတိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲလာမှုများကို ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်စွာထင်ဟပ်ပြသနိုင်ရန် အတွက်ဆေးတိုက်၏ နဂါးအမှတ်တံဆိပ်ကို ၂၀၁၈ခုနှစ်တွင် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ဒီဇိုင်းပြောင်းလဲခဲ့ပါသည်။ စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တိုးတက် ပြောင်းလဲလာမှုများ၏ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ဒေသအဖြစ် အဓိကဆေးဝါးထုတ်ကုန်များ၏ ထုတ်ပိုးပုံစံများကိုလဲ ၂၀၁၈ နှင့် ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်စေရန် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ပြောင်းလဲခဲ့ပါသည်။
နောက်ဆုံးတိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲမှုအဖြစ် ၂၀၂၀ခုနှစ်တွင် ကိုယ်ပိုင်အဏုဇီဝပိုးမွှားဓါတ်ခွဲခန်းကို တည်ထောင်နိုင်ခဲ့သဖြင့် ပြင်ပဓါတ်ခွဲခန်းများ အသုံးပြုနေရခြင်းကို လျှော့ချနိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဦးသာရင်ဆေးတိုက်၏ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တိုင်းသည် ဆေးဝါးထုတ်ကုန်အားလုံး၏ အရည်အသွေး၊ ဘေးကင်းစိတ်ချရမှုနှင့် အာနိသင်ကောင်းမွန်မှုတို့သေချာစေရန် ဟူသောရည်ရွယ်ချက်များဖြင့် လုပ်ဆောင်နေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဆေးတိုက်၏ အစဉ်အလာဓလေ့ ထုံးတမ်းများနှင့်အညီ အရည်အသွေးသာလွန်ကောင်းမွန်စေရန်နှင့် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ်တိုးတက်စေရန်လည်း အမြဲကြိုးစားလျှက်ရှိပါသည်။ နောက်ဆုံးအနေနှင့် ဦးသာရင်ဆေးတိုက်ဆိုသည်မှာ ရိုးရာတိုင်းရင်းဆေးဝါးများကို သိပ္ပံနည်းကျနည်းစနစ်များဖြင့် ပေါင်းစပ်ပြီး သာလွန်ကောင်းမွန်သောအရည်အသွေးမြင့်ဆေးဝါးများ ဖန်တီးရာနေရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို ကျွနု်ပ်တို့ဂုဏ်ယူ ဝင့်ကြွားစွာဖြင့် ပြောပါရစေ။
